Hawaii is an undeniably unique and beautiful place. Part of being lucky enough to visit Hawaii (and show up as a local advertiser) means acknowledging the complex history of Hawaii and its diverse cultural landscape.

After some extensive onboarding on Hawaii’s intricacies, I was brought onto the project in the middle of pre-production, primarily to cover the ambitious three-day shoot in Hawaii.

The deliverables list was extensive: four total long form videos, including a super bowl spot, each with their own cut-downs.

After an incredibly jam-packed week, some of the coolest filming locations ever, lots of negotiating over which set-ups we could accomplish, six company moves, and a whole lot of wardrobe, we produced a series of videos that speak to FHB’s customers all about the power of “yes.”
