reddit Mod World #3
What do you do for an event you’ve produced three times in a row? How do you raise the exceptionally high bar you set for yourself? Is perfection even achievable?!
These are the weight-y questions I asked myself heading into the third iteration of Mod World, Reddit’s annual, virtual live event for moderators around the world.
With two years of experience under my belt, I had thorough knowledge of the audience and the client’s needs. All of this know-how helped me build a two-and-a-half hour live variety show. Guest appearances included Reddit’s CEO plus mods from India, Germany, the UK, and [locations they refused to tell us].
TL;DR we communicated important updates from Reddit HQ, spread some good will, and celebrated Reddit’s 20th Cake Day (that’s birthday for those of you who are not chronically online).
